Rosemarie Seuntiëns is appointed as City-Carillonneur of Eindhoven by July 1, 2009.

Rosemarie Seuntiëns , born in Asten, studied classical piano at the the Brabants Conservatorium in Tilburg. As a pianist she regularly accompanies choirs and instrumental soloists during concerts and competitions.Together with two tenors she forms the well-known Classic Comical Opera Trio Hu’hum. Rosemarie Seuntiëns studied carillon at the Netherlands Carillon school in Amersfoort with Arie Abbenes. She obtained the diploma Performing Musician as a carillonneur. Rosemarie is town carillonneur of Helmond, Roermond, Venray. By July 1, 2009 she was appointed city carillonneur of Asten and Eindhoven (Townhall carillon & Philips carillon). Besides many concerts in the Netherlands, she was also heard in Belgium, France, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Czechia and the United States. Seuntiëns also developed an innovative programme for travelling carillon with orchestra. This resulted in her new programme and CD ” “Roaming Bells” which has won Rosemarie Seuntiëns great acclaim, nationally and internationally.

On July 19th 2008 Rosemarie performed a ‘World Première Concert’ in Lancaster Ohio. Together with the Symphonic Lancaster Festival Orchestra she played some great classical works like ‘Danse Macabre’ by Saint-Saëns, ‘Carillon’ from the L’Arlessienne Suite by Bizet and ‘Overture 1812’ by Tsjaikowsky. During this concert Rosemarie played on the travelling carillon of Chime Master Systems Ohio USA. Chief Conductor of this unique concert was Mr. Gary Cheldon.
